• Requests the Executive Office on Early Learning to collaborate with the Executive Office on Aging to encourage care providers to create intergenerational shared sites serving both children (keiki) and seniors (kupuna)

• Recognizes that intergenerational shared sites provide concurrent services and programs at the same location, allowing children and older adults to interact through planned activities and informal encounters

• Identifies successful intergenerational program models already operating in Honolulu, Kapolei, and Kahului that can serve as examples

• Addresses social isolation experienced by kupuna and separation of families while providing working adults with efficient shared care options for both children and elderly relatives

• Directs transmittal of certified copies to the Directors of both the Executive Office on Early Learning and the Executive Office on Aging
