Requests the State Public Charter School Commission to form a working group to evaluate feasibility of establishing a public charter school program granting high school diplomas to adult learners.

Working group shall examine potential impacts to existing adult education programs, including the Department of Education's Community School for Adults.

Working group composition limited to seven members including Senate Education Committee chair (or designee), House Education Committee chair (or designee), Department of Education Superintendent (or designee), Board of Education representative, State Public Charter School Commission member, and community nonprofit representatives with adult learner experience.

State Public Charter School Commission must submit working group findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2017 Regular Session convenes.

Working group shall dissolve on June 30, 2017.
