Request the State Auditor to conduct a sunrise analysis of House Bill No. 2220, H.D. 1, which would mandate health insurance coverage for nutrition and lifestyle programs to treat diabetes and pre-diabetes.

Require analysis of mandatory insurance coverage specifically for the National Diabetes Prevention Program, a federally-developed program proven to reduce diabetes onset by 58 percent in at-risk adults.

Direct the Auditor to submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the start of the 2017 Regular Session.

Transmit certified copies of the resolution to the Acting State Auditor and Insurance Commissioner.
