Urges the Legislature to convene a working group to research, discuss, and make recommendations regarding edible medical marijuana products.

Working group composition includes two Senate members, two House members, Director of Health, two dispensary representatives, one Drug Policy Forum member, two registered patients, two manufacturers, Director of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, and Director of Transportation.

Requires the working group to meet a minimum of four times before January 1, 2017, with meetings open to the public and including public comment segments.

Working group must discuss new edible products (including drinks), packaging, best practices from other states, quality control and potency standards, and other pertinent issues related to medical marijuana products.

Working group must submit findings, recommendations, and proposed legislation to the Legislature by January 1, 2017, and dissolves on June 30, 2017.
