Urges public and private schools in Hawaii (kindergarten through high school) to develop and increase multi-cultural activities that foster appreciation and understanding of diverse cultures.

References the 2015 Hawaii Children and Youth Summit, where participants identified promoting multi-cultural understanding in schools as a priority issue.

States that exposure to and participation in activities of other cultures can help generate broader cultural understanding and reduce conflict between people.

Directs certified copies of the resolution to be transmitted to the Chairperson of the Board of Education, Superintendent of Education, and Executive Director of the Hawaii Association of Independent Schools.
