Affirms that all persons have the right to access reproductive health care services without fear of violence, intimidation, or harassment.

Reaffirms support for Planned Parenthood health centers and staff in providing health care services including cancer screenings, contraception, STI testing and treatment, and abortion services.

Recognizes Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest and the Hawaiian Islands provided over 10,000 services to Hawaii residents annually and celebrated its 50th year of operation in 2016.

Denounces manipulated videos and politically motivated investigations against Planned Parenthood and the hostile climate that has led to violence and threats against health care providers.

Notes that since 1977 nearly 7,000 violent acts against abortion providers have been reported, and 11 murders of abortion care workers have occurred since 1993, including a November 27, 2015 attack in Colorado Springs killing 3 people.
