Notes that the Hawaii Strategic Development Corporation operates the HI Growth Initiative, a state equity investment program supporting entrepreneurial high-growth businesses and high-wage job creation.

References the High Technology Development Corporation's mission to facilitate development and growth of Hawaii's commercial high technology industry and its existing intellectual property commercialization programs.

Directs certified copies of the resolution be sent to the University of Hawaii Board of Regents, University of Hawaii System President, and leadership of both the Hawaii Strategic Development Corporation and High Technology Development Corporation.
