Requests the Department of Education, a school of architecture with a community design studio, and Kula Kaiapuni O Anuenue to form a partnership to develop a proof of concept plan and design for a gymnasium at the school.

Establishes that Kula Kaiapuni O Anuenue currently lacks a gymnasium despite students' active participation in athletic events through the Oahu Interscholastic Association.

Proposes using the gymnasium project as a community design studio course for architecture doctoral students pursuing projects in the public interest.

Intends the partnership to serve as a model for future state projects requiring planning and design services.

Directs certified copies of the resolution to be transmitted to the Board of Education Chairperson, Superintendent of Education, and Principal of Kula Kaiapuni O Anuenue.
