Expresses support for the Executive Office on Aging's implementation of a federal No Wrong Door System grant to streamline access to long-term services and support for aging and disabled populations in Hawaii.

Hawaii received a one-year planning grant in 2014 and a three-year implementation grant in 2015 to incorporate the No Wrong Door System approach into the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) network.

The ADRC network will establish a single, standardized entry process coordinated by a central entity, including public outreach, person-centered counseling, and streamlined access to public long-term service programs across multiple counties.

Federal grants will fund expansion of the ADRC to train staff on person-centered counseling, develop curriculum to meet federal requirements, and create sustainable funding sources for the network across state and private agencies serving all ages and populations with disabilities.

Directs transmission of certified copies of the resolution to the Governor, state department directors, and all four county mayors.
