Request that the President of the United States, U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Congress, Prime Minister of Japan, Japan Defense Agency, and National Diet of Japan reconsider the proposed military facilities expansion in Henoko, Okinawa.

Call for negotiation of an agreeable solution that would reduce the concentration of U.S. military forces in Okinawa, which currently hosts 74 percent of U.S. military forces in Japan despite comprising only 0.6 percent of Japan's landmass.

Urge the return of military land and facilities to Okinawa Prefecture for civilian development, with previous land returns showing economic improvement of 10 to 200 times in areas like Naha Shintoshin and Chatan Hamby.

Note that polling data shows 80.2 percent of Okinawans disapprove of expansion in Henoko and support the closure and removal of Futenma Marine Corps Air Station.

Direct transmission of the resolution to the President, Secretary of Defense, Japanese government officials, the Governor of Okinawa Prefecture, and various Okinawan community organizations.
