Requests the Office of Elections to provide a status update on implementation of Hawaii's new voter registration system funded by the Help America Vote Act of 2002 (HAVA).

Requires preliminary status update by July 1, 2016 and final status update no later than twenty days before the 2017 Regular Session convenes.

Status update must include project management schedule with deliverables and timeline, completed deliverables and contractor payments, quality assurance processes, system management plan with operational costs and risk mitigation, and itemization of HAVA fund expenditures.

Hawaii received $16,596,803 in HAVA funds and allocated $4,000,000 for the new voter registration system; compliance deadline was January 1, 2006.

Certified copies to be transmitted to the Chief Election Officer, Chairperson of the Elections Commission, and County Clerk of each county.
