Requests the Judiciary to review and revise information on its website and written materials sent to prospective jurors regarding exemptions from jury service and accommodations for breastfeeding mothers

Directs the Judiciary to clearly communicate existing policies that allow breastfeeding mothers to be exempt from jury duty for one calendar year and to provide private, designated spaces and times for expressing breast milk

Requires the Judiciary to submit a written report to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2017 Regular Session, including any proposed legislation related to jury service exemptions and breastfeeding accommodations

Cites health benefits of breastfeeding supported by the American Academy of Pediatrics and notes that jury duty can create hardship for nursing mothers due to mother-child separation

Finds that the existing Judiciary policy is not widely known or communicated to prospective jurors, forcing women to choose between breastfeeding and civic duty
