Department of Human Resources Development must collect all state department and agency policies related to workplace violence complaints and investigations, and data and reports of workplace violence incidents.

Department shall submit a report to the legislature no later than twenty days before each regular session summarizing workplace violence incidents from the previous fiscal year and recommending corrective actions.

Department shall recommend language for a statewide workplace violence policy or amendments to any existing statewide workplace violence policy.

Department must establish procedures enabling state agencies and employees to report workplace violence incidents while ensuring confidentiality of information about incidents, complaints, and individuals involved.

"Violence" is defined as any act by a person that causes or threatens to cause an injury to another person, and "workplace" includes any site where an employer conducts business operations.
