Clarifies that the Hawaii hurricane relief fund's comprehensive loss reduction plan shall include developing and implementing state building code hurricane standards for new and existing residential and commercial structures.

Authorizes the fund to sponsor development and implementation of hurricane-related building code and design standards under part II of chapter 107, Hawaii Revised Statutes.

Requires the fund to provide funding to support adoption of administrative rules implementing hurricane-related building code and design standards and loss mitigation measures.

Limits fund support to hurricane-related building codes only, not all state building code rulemaking activities.

Takes effect July 1, 2050.
