Department of Accounting and General Services may establish a recycling pilot program at buildings and facilities it manages, maintains, or services to collect recyclable materials including paper, plastics, and deposit beverage containers.

Recycling collection receptacles must be located in proximity to solid waste disposal receptacles.

Department must submit a report to the legislature regarding pilot program implementation no later than twenty days before the 2018 regular session convening.

Appropriates $200,000 from general revenues for fiscal year 2017-2018 to implement the recycling pilot program.

Act takes effect July 1, 2017.
