Appropriates unspecified funds to the state public charter school commission for fiscal years 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 for charter school facilities acquisition, repair, maintenance, and rental assistance.

Authorizes the state public charter school commission to allocate facilities funding to charter schools based on need and financial performance as determined by the commission.

Addresses findings that charter schools have received inadequate facilities funding and have been forced to hold classes in substandard conditions including outdoors, covered lanais, and temporary structures.

Takes effect on July 1, 2060 (note: effective date appears to contain a clerical error as it is decades in the future from the 2017 legislative session).
