Streamlines reporting requirements by allowing courts to direct the Department of Human Services to provide oral or written reports on minor child safety, rather than requiring automatic written reports in all domestic abuse cases.

Eliminates the mandatory requirement that DHS notify the court of temporary restraining orders and hearing dates, and removes the requirement for DHS to file written disposition reports for all cases.

Permits DHS to submit written reports without requiring departmental appearance at hearings unless specifically ordered by the court.

Requires courts to provide copies of all written DHS reports to both petitioner and respondent.

Takes effect on July 1, 2075.
