HB758 Summary

• Appropriates funds for fiscal years 2017-2019 to cover collective bargaining cost items negotiated with collective bargaining unit (9) across state departments (Part I).

• Appropriates additional funds for salary increases and cost adjustments for non-bargaining state officers and employees in the executive branch belonging to the same compensation plans as unit (9) members (Part II).

• Appropriates funds to the Judiciary (JUD 601) for collective bargaining unit (9) cost items and for excluded judicial officers and employees with equivalent compensation plans (Parts III and IV).

• Salary increases and cost adjustments paid from federal, special, or other funds shall be paid proportionately from those respective funding sources (Section 9).

• Unencumbered appropriations lapse on June 30, 2018 and June 30, 2019 respectively; Act takes effect July 1, 2050.
