Authorizes multiple dwelling units on privately owned agricultural land classified as overall productivity rating class C, D, or E, with limits based on lot size: 2 units on 1-3 acre lots, 3 units on 3-5 acre lots, 4 units on 5-10 acre lots, and 5 units on 10+ acre lots.

Prohibits dwelling units on important agricultural lands or land with productivity rating class A or B, except as already authorized under existing law.

Allows counties to prohibit such dwelling units entirely or limit them to specific areas within the county.

Defines "dwelling unit" as a structure used exclusively for residential occupancy with facilities for cooking, eating, living, sanitation, and sleeping.

Effective date is July 31, 2150.
