Exempts individuals from obtaining an insurance producer license when selling stored property insurance at self-service storage facilities, provided they meet specific requirements.

Prohibits commission payments to the person soliciting the insurance and requires the insurance provider to be responsible for the solicitor's activities.

Requires written disclosure materials at the time of solicitation stating that solicitors are unlicensed, insurance is not required by law, and coverage may duplicate existing homeowners or renters policies.

Limits stored property insurance coverage to a maximum insured value of $10,000 and storage rental agreements to periods not exceeding one year.

Effective date: July 1, 2099.
