Designates April 15 through April 22, 2018, as Volunteer Week in the State of Hawaii in conjunction with National Volunteer Week.

References Presidential Proclamation 4288 from President Richard Nixon in 1974 that established National Volunteer Week to recognize and encourage community engagement through volunteer service.

Recognizes the United States volunteer force of over 63 million people as a vital resource for communities and the nation's future as a caring and productive society.

Affirms that volunteer service empowers both givers and recipients and that government cannot solve all issues facing the country without community participation.

Directs transmission of a certified copy of the concurrent resolution to the Governor.
