Urges the Department of Health to complete the process for adopting and implementing administrative rules to update vaccination standards for children under chapter 91, Hawaii Revised Statutes.

References Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 202 (2007) requesting review of vaccination requirements and Act 231 (2013) authorizing the Department of Health to establish vaccination lists based on United States Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices recommendations.

Notes that despite passage of the 2007 and 2013 measures, no updates to vaccination standards have occurred and proposed administrative rules have not been submitted for public hearing and comment.

Requires the Department of Health to submit a report on its activities to the Legislature no later than twenty days prior to the 2018 Regular Session.

Directs certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Director of Health, Director of Human Services, Superintendent of Education, and Board of Education Chairperson.
