Request the Department of Human Resources Development to collect all state department and agency policies related to workplace violence complaints and investigations, and compile statewide data on workplace violence incidents.

Direct the department to develop procedures enabling state agencies and employees to report workplace violence incidents and ensuring confidentiality of information about incidents, complaints, and individuals involved.

Require the department to submit a report to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2018 Regular Session, including findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation.

Request the report include a summary of workplace violence incidents from the previous fiscal year with recommended corrective actions, and proposed language for a statewide workplace violence policy.
