Urges the Board of Education to create guidelines for incorporating climate change education into Hawaii's public schools curriculum.

Identifies multiple climate change impacts relevant to Hawaii including sea level rise of one to three feet by 2100, coral bleaching, marine ecosystem damage, coastal flooding and erosion, and increased disease vectors like mosquitoes.

Notes that Act 286 (passed in 2012) addressed the need for climate change education but no guidelines currently exist for teachers to incorporate the topic into their curriculum.

Recognizes younger generations are experiencing climate change effects and that education on the topic will help them adapt and develop solutions.

Directs that a certified copy of the concurrent resolution be transmitted to the Chairperson of the Board of Education.
