Requests the Department of Budget and Finance to provide a status report on the establishment and implementation of the Hawaii ABLE Savings Program to the Legislature.

The Hawaii ABLE Savings Program was authorized under Act 206 (2015) to enable individuals with disabilities and their families to save private funds while maintaining compliance with the federal Stephen Beck, Jr., Achieving a Better Life Experience Act of 2014.

Notes that Hawaii Revised Statutes section 256B-3(a) requires the Director of Finance to conduct annual evaluations and submit reports to the Governor and Legislature, but no such reports have been submitted.

Requires the Department of Budget and Finance to submit the status report to the Legislature no later than 20 days before the convening of the Regular Session of 2018.

Directs transmission of a certified copy of the resolution to the Director of Finance.
