Recognizes and commends the Ocean Safety Divisions and Ocean Safety Officers across Hawaii County, Kauai County, Maui County, and the City and County of Honolulu for their dedication to public safety.

Hawaii County's Ocean Safety Division provides lifeguard services at over 12 beaches on the Big Island including Honoli'i, Richardson's, Onekahakaha, Isaac Hale, and Hapuna beaches.

Kauai County's Ocean Safety Bureau employs 56 Ocean Safety Officers providing lifeguard coverage across three districts from Ke'e Beach in the north to Kekaha Beach in the south/west.

Maui County's ocean safety officers provide lifeguard services for over 10 beaches throughout the island.

Honolulu's Ocean Safety and Lifeguard Services Division covers 198 miles of O'ahu's coastline divided into four regions: South Shore, Windward, North Shore, and Leeward.
