Congratulates six student winners of the Hawaii: Next 50 Contest: Eliana Sueoka (Aina Haina Elementary), Kye Steele (King Intermediate), Robert Dempsey (Kealakehe High), Kershylle Alivio (Maemae Elementary), Remy Kubota (Highlands Intermediate), and Aiyana Bennion (Kahuku High).

Contest was sponsored by the Hawaii State House of Representatives, Chamber of Commerce Hawaii, Sultan Ventures, aio Foundation, and Hawaii Crop Improvement Association.

Over 200 students from grades 4-12 submitted entries addressing affordable housing, food sustainability, clean agriculture, biotechnology, and renewable energy solutions for Hawaii's future.

Contest prompt asked students to imagine how current or future technology could address housing affordability, food sustainability, or promote innovative industries over the next 50 years.

Resolution expresses appreciation for the winners' creative solutions and their commitment to keeping Hawaii moving forward as the best place to live and work.
