Directs the Department of Accounting and General Services to determine the costs of proper statue maintenance if the State is determined to be the rightful owner.

Extends legislative gratitude to the North Kohala community for maintaining the statue, which requires repainting every seven to ten years by professional sculptors.

Requires certified copies of the resolution be sent to the Governor, Comptroller, and Mayor of the County of Hawaii.
