Requests the Department of Budget and Finance to provide a status report on the establishment and implementation of the Hawaii ABLE Savings Program to the Legislature

Requires the status report to be submitted no later than 20 days before the convening of the Regular Session of 2018

References Act 206, Session Laws of Hawaii 2015, which authorized the Director of Finance to establish the Hawaii ABLE Savings Program as a qualified tax-exempt savings program for individuals with disabilities

Notes that Hawaii Revised Statutes section 256B-3(a) requires annual evaluation and reporting of the Program, but the Director has not submitted any evaluations or reports to the Legislature

Directs that a certified copy of the resolution be transmitted to the Director of Finance
