Cites medical safety benefits, including the Institute for Safe Medication Practices' recommendation for metric-only dosing devices and reports of over 50 medication errors resulting from mix-ups between metric and non-metric measurements.

Argues that familiarity with the metric system reduces confusion, simplifies conversions, improves global interoperability, and better prepares the workforce for international commerce.

Directs certified copies be transmitted to the Governor and county officials for distribution to all relevant departments and agencies.
