Documents climate change impacts on Hawaii including sea level rise of half a foot, coral bleaching causing $9.7 billion in natural asset losses, and potential $40 billion in losses from major hurricanes.

Calls on federal government and states to provide retraining and support for fossil fuel workers to ensure their future as the energy market transitions to renewable energy.

Directs transmission of resolution copies to the President, U.S. Secretary of Energy, relevant congressional committees, state governors, and the Mayor of Washington, D.C.
