Updates Hawaii estate and generation-skipping transfer tax conformity to subtitle B of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 as amended through December 31, 2016, replacing the prior 2015 reference date.

Makes the estate and generation-skipping transfer tax conformity changes applicable to decedents dying or taxable transfers occurring after December 31, 2016.
