Exempts individuals from obtaining an insurance producer license when selling only stored property insurance in connection with self-service storage facility rentals for rental periods not exceeding one year.

Requires that individuals selling such insurance receive no commission and provide written disclosure materials to customers at the time of solicitation.

Written disclosures must state that stored property insurance is not required by law, may duplicate existing homeowners or renters policies, and include a summary of coverage terms, insurer identity, benefits, key conditions, and claim filing process.

Defines "stored property insurance" as group or master policy coverage for tangible personal property in storage units with maximum insured value of $10,000.

Defines "self-service storage facility" according to section 507-61 of Hawaii Revised Statutes.
