Repeals section 325-15 of Hawaii Revised Statutes, which required U.S. citizens or nationals to submit medical examination reports within 60 days of returning to Hawaii after five or more years abroad in high-disease areas.

Eliminates the mandatory tuberculin skin test or chest x-ray examination requirement for returning residents, along with additional chest x-ray documentation if the skin test was positive.

Legislature finds the mandatory tuberculosis testing provides marginal public health benefits while imposing significant costs and practical enforcement burdens on travelers.

Effective upon approval of the Act.
