Appropriates additional general revenue funding to the Department of Human Services, Department of Health, and Department of Transportation for fiscal years 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 to address homelessness.

Department of Human Services receives funding for rent supplements for homeless families, housing first programs with supportive services, rapid rehousing programs, family and elderly housing operations, homeless outreach services, and property storage for homeless individuals.

Department of Health receives funding for outreach services to homeless persons with serious and persistent mental illness and for outreach, counseling, and diversion services for unsheltered homeless persons experiencing substance abuse.

Department of Transportation receives funding to assist the highways division in addressing homelessness-related issues pertaining to security, health, and safety.
