• Requires the Department of Land and Natural Resources to include aha moku advisory committee expenses in its budget and provide administrative support to the committee.

• Authorizes the special land and development fund to cover expenses incurred by the aha moku advisory committee.

• Appropriates $350,000 for fiscal year 2017-2018 and $350,000 for fiscal year 2018-2019 for aha moku advisory committee expenses, with $100,000 of each appropriation divided among the eight represented areas and the annual Puwalu event.

• Allows the committee to hire an executive director and administrative assistant exempt from civil service requirements.

• Effective July 1, 2017.
