Increases minimum fine for first offense of operating a vehicle with suspended/revoked license (DUI-related) from $250 to $750 and maximum fine from $1,000 to $3,000.

Increases fine for second offense within five years from $1,000 to $3,000.

Increases fine for third or subsequent offense within five years from $2,000 to $6,000.

Applies to violations under Hawaii Revised Statutes section 291E-62 involving license suspension or revocation for operating under the influence of an intoxicant.

Takes effect upon approval and does not affect penalties or proceedings that began before the effective date.
