Removes the exclusion of acute care hospitals from the definition of "health care facility" in the clean claims statute to resolve ambiguity created by 2015 legislative amendments.

Amends subsection (l) of section 431:13-108 by striking language that explicitly excluded acute care hospitals from coverage under the clean claims requirements.

Ensures acute care hospitals can enforce timely payment requirements for uncontested claims submitted to health plans and insurance entities.

Takes effect upon approval.
