Creates a new criminal offense of theft for real estate brokers who knowingly or intentionally violate laws or rules related to the deposit, segregation, or disposition of client trust account funds.

Requires principal brokers to file the client trust account number and name of the financial institution holding the account with the real estate commission at time of registration and renewal.

Mandates principal brokers notify the real estate commission of any changes to the account number or location within ten days of the change.

Authorizes the real estate commission to file actions in circuit court to obtain injunctions or other orders to enforce laws and rules relating to client trust accounts.

Effective date January 7, 2059.
