Requires all child care providers regulated by the Department of Human Services to obtain and maintain liability insurance as a condition of licensure, temporary permission, or registration.

Mandates providers disclose in writing to parents or guardians at the time of application summary information about liability insurance coverage, including insurer name and contact information, coverage amounts, and effective dates.

Requires providers to notify parents or guardians within seven working days of any change, cancellation, or termination of liability insurance coverage while a child is in their care.

Authorizes the department to suspend or revoke a provider's license or registration if the provider makes false statements about insurance coverage or fails to comply with insurance and disclosure requirements.

Requires the department to verify proof of liability insurance on an annual basis; takes effect January 1, 2050.
