Requires all barbers, beauty operators, and instructors licensed under Hawaii's board of barbering and cosmetology to complete a one-time, three-hour training program on intimate partner violence awareness and education.

Training program must enable licensees to recognize signs of intimate partner violence and provide resources such as referrals to social services and domestic violence organizations.

New applicants must complete training and submit evidence of completion with license applications; existing licensees must complete training and submit evidence with their next license renewal.

The Department of Health shall develop the training program in coordination with a domestic violence intervention program.

Provides hold harmless protection, preventing civil or criminal liability for licensees who act in good faith or fail to act on intimate partner violence information obtained during employment.
