Appropriates $550,000 for fiscal year 2017-2018 and $550,000 for fiscal year 2018-2019 to the healthy aging partnership program.

Funds are to be expended by the executive office on aging of the department of health to improve health and well-being of Hawaii's kupuna (elders).

Recognizes the program's established role since 2003 in providing evidence-based health promotion and disease prevention for Hawaii's diverse aging population.

Addresses the program's loss of funding for fiscal year 2016-2017, which would have resulted in program closure and prevented meeting goals of the Hawaii State Plan on Aging.

Takes effect July 1, 2017.
