Requires health insurance policies, mutual benefit societies, fraternal benefit societies, and health maintenance organizations to recognize naturopathic physicians licensed under Hawaii law as participating providers and cover services they provide within their scope of practice.

Allows insurers to designate participating naturopathic physicians as primary care providers and requires them to include such providers on publicly available lists of participating primary care providers.

Grants the insurance commissioner authority to receive and investigate complaints regarding discrimination against naturopathic physicians under federal non-discrimination provisions.

Expands existing insurance coverage requirements to include naturopathic physicians for child health supervision services, medical foods for inborn errors of metabolism, and other covered health care services.

Takes effect June 1, 2050.
