Amends section 846-2.7 to require state criminal history record checks include an indication of whether the applicant, employee, or volunteer has a current obligation to register as a covered offender under chapter 846E.

Expands disclosure of covered offender registration information to "criminal justice agencies" (not just "law enforcement") for administration of criminal justice and covered offender registration purposes.

Allows disclosure of an indication of a covered offender's current registration obligation (but not confidential registration details) in response to fingerprint-based criminal history record checks conducted under section 846-2.7.

Requires notification to applicants, employees, and volunteers that their fingerprints will be retained by the Hawaii criminal justice data center and Federal Bureau of Investigation for all authorized purposes.

Takes effect January 7, 2059.
