Extends the civil service exemption for five full-time medical marijuana dispensary program personnel at the Department of Health from June 30, 2017 to June 30, 2020.

Allows the Department of Health to retain exempt staffing necessary to operate the medical marijuana dispensary program without the salary reduction that would occur upon conversion to civil service positions.

Requires that any exempt employee still occupying a position on June 30, 2020 shall be appointed to a civil service position while retaining all prior service credits, vacation and sick leave, and other benefits.

Effective date is June 29, 2017.
