Encourages each state agency and department to implement worksite wellness programs consistent with the Department of Human Resources Development Policy No. 801.001, approved October 1, 2014.

Urges each state agency and department to identify a manager to serve as wellness leader responsible for collaborating with executive management and employees on workplace wellness infrastructure.

Directs the wellness leader to oversee development and implementation of employee wellness policies and committees, and provide ongoing assessment and monitoring of program effectiveness.

Requires the Director of Human Resources Development to distribute copies of this resolution to heads of all state departments, the Board of Trustees of the Hawaii Employer-Union Health Benefits Trust Fund, and the CEOs of Hawaii Medical Service Association and Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Inc.
