Requests the Legislative Reference Bureau to study the feasibility of establishing a condominium ombudsman to resolve grievances between residents and condominium associations without litigation.

Directs the study to examine public need for the position, appropriateness of government intervention in private disputes, scope of duties, staffing requirements, and funding sources.

Requires the Real Estate Commission to provide assistance and information to support timely completion of the study.

Mandates the Legislative Reference Bureau submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the start of the 2018 Regular Session.

Requires certified copies be sent to the Legislative Reference Bureau Director, Real Estate Commission Chairperson, and Director of Commerce and Consumer Affairs.
