Establishes a Center for Women in Technology within the University of Hawaii Department of Information and Computer Sciences.

Center shall develop marketing and outreach to build interest in computer science among women and review curriculum to adopt female-friendly teaching methods that guard against gender-based stereotypes.

Center shall set measurable goals to increase women's enrollment in the department, coordinate K-12 programs including mentoring and summer workshops, and serve as the state clearinghouse for women in computer science matters.

Director appointed by the UH Chancellor shall administer the center and submit annual reports to the legislature on program status and achievement no later than 20 days before each regular legislative session.

Takes effect upon approval.
