Requires the University of Hawaii to conduct a promotional campaign targeting high school students about careers in teaching and education degree programs offered across the UH system.

Campaign must include information on the benefits of earning a degree in education and be directed specifically at current high school students.

University of Hawaii must submit a report to the legislature no later than 20 days before the 2019 regular session covering program accomplishments, fund expenditures, applicant increases for education programs, and any proposed legislation.

Appropriates unspecified funds from general revenues for fiscal years 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 to support the promotional program.

Effective date is July 1, 2050.
