Prohibits children enrolled in private child day care centers from entering areas where pesticides have been applied until it is safe to do so.

Requires private child day care centers to notify parents or guardians at least 24 hours before pesticide application (or as soon as practicable for emergencies), including the pesticide's active ingredient, target pest, application location, and date.

Mandates that pesticide application records be maintained at the day care center for five years.

Restricts pesticide application at private child day care centers to licensed pest control operators under chapter 460J, with an exception for emergency applications that do not involve restricted use pesticides.

Effective upon approval.
